The decision to form Trowbridge Youth Theatre was made by TAOS in 2007. Its purpose was to encourage young people into amateur theatre and hopefully to secure the future of the Society.

The first show chosen was Disney's High School Musical. This proved to be a very popular choice, both with the cast members and also with the audiences, providing us with record attendances.

Setting up the Youth Theatre involved a lot of hard work, not least by Matt Heaton as the Youth Group Co-ordinator and members were kept informed with regular updates on the website.

We would like to thank all those involved in the first show for their help and enthusiasm, particularly to members of the main Society who provided the backup and chaperones at rehearsals and during performances, not forgetting the front-of-house team.

More Members always needed..... Whether you enjoy singing, acting or dancing (or all three) or want to join in behind the scenes with props, lighting, stage crew etc., pop along to one of our rehearsals - we'll try to make you feel welcome.
